WEST HAVEN

These clients came to us with a deep love of their funky 1965 home, but the original kitchen was small, cramped and dark, lacking the charm found in other parts of the home. We completely overhauled the space plan, removing an entire stairwell (the house previously had two) and creating a new laundry room adjacent to the kitchen. The focal point of the new space is the wallpapered breakfast nook which has become the place where their family gathers to eat, plan, and spend time together. Bold terracotta-colored countertops, natural marble, warm wood and bold pattern create a space that feels fun, fresh and bursting with personality.
