pearl district
This Pearl District penthouse marked our second collaboration with these clients, and we were thrilled to help them tailor their new home to better reflect their needs, lifestyle, and the way they want to live every day. While the goal was to refresh the entire condo with more cosmetic updates planned for the kitchen, the primary bathroom ultimately evolved into a full gut renovation and became the heart of the project.
Now transformed into a serene wellness retreat, the primary bathroom is wrapped in plaster and tadelakt walls, handmade tile, warm walnut, and a striking quartzite slab that anchors the space. Designed around restoration and relaxation, it supports how our clients want to feel at both the start and end of each day. Elsewhere, a color-drenched guest bathroom brings drama to a compact footprint, while the kitchen received a refresh that proves thoughtful interventions can make a significant impact without requiring a full renovation.
Custom full-height walnut cabinetry in the entry provides much-needed storage while creating a warm and welcoming first impression. The home already had good bones and the right people in it. This project was about honoring both while thoughtfully shaping the space around the lives lived within it.
The general contractor for this project was McFadin Design Build.
